I wanted to let you know how my day of fishing went with Chris Korkoda. Being a Registered Maine Guide myself, I’m very picky about how things ought to be done. Chris was fantastic. First of all he was early. Not just on time but early. He was very pleasant to talk to and extremely knowledgable regarding all aspects of targeting stripers in skinny water. Prior to making my first cast Chris went over each step of the process he wanted me to follow and what I should expect if I follow his instruction. I liked this because it helped me manage my own expectations for the day. Long story short, the first fish we targeted we landed on the first cast. It was a healthy 36” striper that took me well into my backing. We proceeded to catch over a dozen fish in this size class over the next 4 hours. There were a couple of things that I want to point out in particular. First of all he was very calm. Lots of Guides get very excited and they start barking orders when a fish is being targeted. This makes me very anxious. Chris was calm as a cucumber. Secondly, he offered technique ideas that I was easily able to adapt that made my trip more successful and he did it in a way that was helpful without being critical. I very much appreciated that. As you know, sight fishing can be very challenging. Chris’s knowledge, enthusiasm and calm demeanor made it impossible to not be successful. I wish I could give them 500 stars. They went above and beyond helping me with a firearms transfer. My local FFL was making them jump through hoops and they didn't mind doing what it took to get the transaction going. The staff members were very respectful and went out if their way for me. I can promise ill do future business with them.

Great place! We rented kayaks and they delivered and picked them up quickly. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We also bought fishing gear and they had recommendations of what catches fish locally and they were right!!! Our whole group caught strippers! Definitely recommend them!

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff of both hunting and fishing. They do not make you feel stupid if you are new to a hobby and help you every step of the way. If getting into tuna fishing, striper fishing, or hunting, I recommend going to talk to them before doing anything.
